    Valuation Trends: Acura & Honda

Having been in the collector vehicle and specialty insurance space for more than 40 years, we know this for sure: values are always changing. That’s exactly why it's so important to place vehicles on a Guaranteed Value® policy with a partner that regularly monitors changes in value and helps communicate that to agents and customers. At Hagerty, we have a whole team dedicated to Automotive Intelligence, including valuation, pricing and market trends. In fact, they helped us gather the information for this whole Cars You Should Know campaign.

Two notes: When we talk about the “average value” here, we’re talking about the average condition 3 value. That’s the most common condition on the road today. If you want to learn more about what “conditions” look like, check out our visual guide. Also we reference the Hagerty Price Guide throughout the article. The price guide is the premier collector car value guide—accurate, up-to-date, and without pricing bias or prejudice.

    Acura Integra Type-R

    • Integras on the rise: According to the Hagerty Price Guide condition 3 (good) value, the Integra Type-R has appreciated 35% from $30,500 to $41,300 in the past five years.
    • Very valuable Integras: The most valuable Integra is the 1997 Integra Type-R, with a condition 1 value of $97,900 in January 2025. However, in early 2025, a 2001 Acura Integra Type-R with under 5,000 miles sold for an auction record of $211,704.

    Honda Civic Si

    • Going up, but still reasonable: The average condition 3 value for the Civic Si is up 33% in the past five years to $14,600.
    • Coupe at the top: The most valuable version is the 1999-2000 Civic Si Coupe, which has a condition 1 value of $42,900.

    Honda S2000

    • Low miles, high price tag: In 2022, a 2009 Honda S2000 CR in yellow with 123 miles sold for an auction record of $205,000.
    • S2000s worth over 30K: Like all Hondas highlighted here, the S2000 average condition 3 value is going up over the past five years: in this case it’s up 74% from $18,900 to $32,800.

    Acura NSX

    • More than a million: The auction record for an NSX is from the spring of 2025 when a 2003 Honda NSX-R sold for $1.1M.
    • NSX also on the rise: Only the 1991-2005 NSX is carried in the Hagerty Price Guide, and the average condition 3 value for it is up 45% over the past five years to $85,400.
