    Collector Motorcycles and Scooters

    • Collector motorcycles and scooters need special protection, too. With Guaranteed Valueâ„¢ coverage, claims specialists and parts specialists, we make sure collector bikes are taken care of properly. To qualify for our program, motorcycles and scooters must meet the following requirements:

      • Applicants must be 26 or older
      • Applicants must have a valid motorcycle endorsement, license or permit
      • 1996 and older.*  Motorcycles in North Carolina, must be 25 years old and older
      • Minimum value is $2,000
      • Collection of 3 or more motorcycles - minimum value is $1,000 per bike
      • Acceptable modifications are custom paint, chromed parts or fiberglass fenders
      • Custom built frame or structurally modified motorcycles must be 1975 and older and have a minimum value of $7,500
      • Custom built Trikes are not eligible
      • Motorcycles must be stored in a fully enclosed garage
      • If the motorcycle guest passenger liability (GPL) is limited to the state minimum limit, we can proceed with offering liability limits that match the personal auto policy. If not, the maximum liability limit offered is $100,000/$300,000 or $100,000 CSL.
      • Collector Raced Motorcycles can be considered for coverage. Please see guidelines under Motorsports Insurance section
