Step-by-Step Guide: Adding Hagerty to Your Vertafore PL Rating™ Template

Did you know? You can quote Hagerty directly inside your Vertafore PL Rating workflow. Quoting Hagerty no longer requires logging into a separate portal or reentering customer data. You can now offer your collector vehicle clients Guaranteed Value® coverage from Hagerty without ever leaving your rater. 

To get rates on Hagerty-qualified vehicles, you first need to add Hagerty to your carrier template. It only takes about 5 minutes. 

How to Add Hagerty to Your PL Rating Template 

Step 1: Log in to PL Rating as your Agency Administrator. 

Step 2: From the Admin menu, select Manage Agency Information. 

Step 3: Click the States tab and confirm Texas is selected. 

Step 4: Click the Carriers tab. Select Texas as the state and choose your line of business. 

Step 5: Find Hagerty in the carrier list and check the box to add it to your template. 

Step 6: Click Finish and confirm the changes.  

Note: Each agent user will need to add their Hagerty credentials under Manage Real-Time Passwords in the Admin Menu (for Classic users) or Credential Manager (for VSSO users). 

Once you’re set up, you’ll see Hagerty rates returned for qualified vehicles on your results page.
